I am happy to have a guest writer for this post and she
is my daughter! While I have taught all ages, I prefer early elementary. She
prefers Teens. The Bible lesson in this post was designed to
teach teenagers about how a grudge can hold us down in our Christian walk and
the importance of forgiveness.
lesson is Elisha with the widow. We are discussing the miracle of the jar of
oil filling lots of jars! And, the family that Elisha stayed with. Another
miracle happened when Elisha brought their son back to life!
I am working on the Summer quarter and I am planning to have 22 lessons for Jesus starting in June. Some of the lessons planned are new for the blog, some are the same and some won't be taught this time. I am going to add all of them, even repeats with a cleaner post and different things added. I will be using these posters for a bulletin board and will post the photo when I have it.
is the last lesson with Elijah and we shift to Elisha with three lessons. Since
there are plenty of ideas and printables for the flaming chariot, I used a
worksheet to also use as a discussion cut & glue worksheet about 'The Power
of God'. While Elijah is at the cave, God show Elijah some of His power, but
shows even a whisper has its own power. That alone is worth thinking about.
We are studying Elijah and this lesson for Naboth's Vineyard has printables that I used on a science board, but will work great for a small bulletin board. Just add some grapes! We acted out the lesson and moved to different areas of the room while we talked about Naboth.
post is to make it easy for you to find the order of all the lessons
available about The Life of Jesus. Just click on the picture of the
lesson you'd like to see. I have had requests for a list of the lessons in
order from several people, so I have added them with the links.
I have had requests for a list of the lessons in order from several people, so I will be adding them with the links. This post is to make it easy for you to find the order of all the
lessons available from Genesis. Just click on the picture of the lesson you'd like to see. (I taught Genesis in one quarter, so there are some lessons not listed here, but I will try to add as I have time.) Also, there are other lessons, bulletin boards, projects, etc. for a lot of the lessons, so you can use the search bar on the right if you are interested to see if more posts are available.
