Thankful For What God Gives Us!

http://kidsbibledebjackson.blogspot.com/
This post is not intended for Bible class, but for home use.
I found this Thanksgiving book at Barnes and Noble and I wanted to share it with you! It is a Touch & Feel book, which kids love of course. But what I liked about it is that it tells about seeing and being thankful for God's blessings that He has given us.

The book even has He & You capitalized for God, which is hard to find now days, but one of those things I look for. It is a nice, short book for preschoolers. Click on the book below to see it at Amazon if you'd like to find out more about it (and, I am not getting anything at all for sharing it with you ☺):

Reading through the book is being thankful for different things, so I created these pictures to color, and made a booklet if you'd like to use it after you read the book, or even if you don't want to read the book! The girls loved the pictures to color! Click here to print the pictures to color.

We are also doing various November crafts, and this was one of them. And, oops, they took them home before I checked my photo! But, we talked about Thanksgiving and God makes the turkeys. For the younger kids, we talked about colors and turkey sounds. This was found at Hobby Lobby.

We also made these turkeys. The kids love these animals with the long folded legs! We added the feathers and they really enjoyed that! You can find the free pattern here.

  1. That book looks great and so does that turkey the girls are holding. I am going to have to start looking for ideas in just a few months for my twin granddaughters. They are just 9 months but time flies!!
