https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2014/03/disciples-vs-apostles-posters-file.html
The Disciple's posters, lapbook, file folder game and more...
all updated!

The Disciple's Anchor Charts have a picture and an 'About Me' on each page. There are several extra posters for Disciples and the Apostles are included also.

This Disciples file folder game has been updated. The pictures have been corrected and cleaned up. I added a teacher's answer sheet and directions.

Also, the cover for the File Folder Game would be a great poster by itself if you need a list of the Disciples.

The lapbook has been updated. The pictures have been cleaned up and corrected and the basic look has been updated.  The students will lift the flap and write the facts about each person.

And I thought I'd share these with you now. I saw these really great drawings of the Apostles by Nina Smith on one of my Facebook pages and she has even permitted me to share them with you. She drew them herself!! I can't draw... at all! So, it's that much more special to find new things to use for Bible class! These are only in black and white. I used my scrapbook markers to color mine, then added the 1/2" strips to make them stand up. You can print these here.

I will use them for my Disciples lesson, but I also used them for teaching my granddaughters at home. You can see the D is for Disciples here.

  1. Love the disciple posters. I appreciate your blog so much as a Bible class teacher. Just an FYI - Think I spotted a minor spelling error. I looked up twelvth vs. twelfth spelling. I believe it is incorrectly spelled on one of the posters. Again I appreciate all the ideas and your willingness to share. Such an encouragement!!!

  7. Dear Debbie,
I thank you for the many works you have shared with all of us. I have even shred them to the Philippines where I grew up. I just have a question regarding the 12 apostles where you have listed the distinguishing factors for kids to remember them by. The picture showing for Andrew was actually the face of Peter in Sweet Publishing illustrations. I love to use your apostles visuals because I also use Sweet Publishings and I don't want to confuse my kids. I know I can just switch the two on my own and I thought with your many works you may also want to know.
Again thank you for all the help you have given me in my teaching.

    1. Eileen, I do not have any of the original visuals from Sweet, so I am not sure who is who for some of them. I took a guess with some of them. You can see from the following link there is not any info, just the visuals and maybe you can make the changes you need from here: http://distantshores.org/resources/illustrations/sweet-publishing
      I appreciate you stopping by!

  11. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful materials. You are so creative and generous. It's trully a blessing. I'm using them in my Sunday School classes the session. The children love them.
I'm having a bit of a problem printing out the posters of the Disciples. The words describing them seem to be too big to fit on the page. They extend beyond the border. It's probably user error. Do you have any advice or suggestions for me? Thanks in advance. Gurnam Khalsa
