Preschool Alphabet: M is for Miracles

M is for Miracles = Miracles of Jesus
Preschool at home ideas and printables!

This week we are learning about Jesus and one of His miracles. We only had 2 days due to snow days, in Memphis(!), this week, so we just talked about this one miracle!

Miracles are an unusual event caused by God. I printed these visuals:

And, cut them out. I used magnets to let the girls add and take away the pieces as we discussed the Bible facts. I just let them use the magnets on top of the visuals, and it was good eye/hand skills. The inside of the house is under the outside and this is how we started.

This miracle is found in Mark 2:1-12. Jesus returned to Capernaum and people had heard that He was back! We added Jesus and the crowd.

Immediately there were so many people wanting to see Jesus, the house was full, and people couldn't even get in the door! Jesus was preaching to them. There were 4 men that were carrying a paralytic man on his bed. There were so many people, they couldn't get to Jesus!

They uncovered the roof and let the man down through the hole in the roof! Jesus saw their faith and told the man to get up, pick up his bed and go to his house. Immediately, he could walk! Everyone saw this and they were amazed! After we talked, our project was to add 2 craft sticks and a string on each end, then when they retold me about Jesus, they could use the string to let the man down.

We used this doctor kit to talk about Jesus and His miracles. Jesus didn't need a doctor kit! There seems to be random scriptures on the tools, but they are things that preschoolers need to work on. Also, for us, I added a cell phone with 911, the emergency & hospital signs so we could discuss what to do and signs to look for in an emergency.

We got out the doctor kits and played doctor!

There are always other printables in the alphabet packs which includes several pages like M is for Mouse, etc. and not necessarily from the Bible, but most are a good reminder of what God created. There are always retelling cards to print and let them tell you what they learned about the Bible. And, there are always one or two pictures to color of the Bible facts for each letter.

Here are some books for the letter M.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! Yes, under the old law, they worshipped on the Sabbath which was Saturday. And to teach the people about Jesus, they met on the Sabbath at the temple. But after Jesus died, the Christians worshipped on the first day of the week which is Sunday (Acts 20:7). That was one of the changes from the old law. 10. Your preschool lessons are magnificent!! Next time my twin granddaughters are here I will stop over and see what I can discover. I don't have every one of the assets I used to have for showing Book of scriptures lessons to minimal ones since they destroyed.
