We did parables of Jesus this year for Vacation Bible School. Linda and Paula taught the 4 and 5 year old classes. They have permitted me to share photos of their classroom with you. This is decoration ideas only. But, the decorations are perfect for this age group!
The first night was The Great Feast.
This is a great idea to let the kids sit around the table and talk about The Great Feast!
We also had the lesson on The Lost Coin.
This is a really cute corner that looks like the inside of a Bible home.
We also taught The Prodigal Son.
I love this! They had nice moveable cardboard people that they added to finish the scenes, but since I was teaching my own class, I wasn't able to get the final pictures to share.
The last photo is for The Good Samaritan.
I decided to post this photo, even though it doesn't have the people in it.
The church VBS resource room has a LOT of sheets and tarps painted with scenes.
Awesome, because you can use them over and over again! This is one of them!
