The Creation For Kids: Day 6

https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2015/01/the-creation-for-kids-day-6.html
Several websites collaborated together to share ideas for The Creation found in Genesis. So glad you are here for Day 6 of this week long series! This one was the most fun day for me, since I love the animals that God created on Day 6. We also get to learn about Adam and Eve being created on Day 6.

Genesis 1:24-27 & Genesis 2:21-23 On Day 6 God made all the animals, from the big cattle, to the little creepy things. Think of all the different types of animals that there are! God saw that it was good.
Then, God made man in His image to be over the animals. God took dust from the ground and formed man and breathed into his nose. And man became a living, breathing person. God called him Adam, which means father of all living. God said it is very good! God caused Adam to go into a deep sleep. God took one of Adam's ribs and closed his flesh. God formed Adam's rib into a woman and he named her Eve. (Genesis 3:20)

God put Adam in the Garden of Eden and said Adam was to take care of it. (Genesis 2:15) God also took all the animals to Adam and let Adam name them. Whatever Adam called the animals, that is what their names are! Adam named all the animals on the land, all the birds in the air and the fish in the water! (Genesis 2:19-20).

I wanted to create this Animal Sort File Folder Game for preschoolers for several reasons. They can sort the animals into the different type location the animals belong in. I can also ask "Who made the...?" and repeat that God made it. We can also work on colors. They will learn the names of the animals and you can even review some of the sounds the animals make. There can be lots of learning for a printable that seems basic! And, I love the easy storage for file folder games! Click here to download this Animal Sort File Folder Game.

  2. Thanks Nicolette for sharing this. I had the idea that my quiet books ought to have some religious basis, especially as we use them in church. I am planning a loaves and fishes page, and this creation idea is a great one. The other contributors, esp. science are fantastic, and are bound to help engage the dads too.
