In this
lesson, Lot moved to Canaan with Abraham and lived in Sodom. He was taken
captive, angels visit, and his wife is turned to salt as they leave Sodom.
Lot
is found in Genesis 12-19.
You will
notice several events missing from Lot’s life. They are not appropriate for the
ages this study was written for. So, for the study of Lot’s life, we are going
to learn about some of the events in the Bible about Lot.
This cut and glue sequencing timeline of Lot is a requested standard with this series.
See the project below for something different.
There is a completed worksheet to use as a teacher's visual, a handout or an insert for notebooks.
They can be used as stand-ups or glue to large craft sticks. I would glue Lot's wife, and the family running to craft sticks and use the city as a stand-up. Let the students add glue to the white Lot's wife and sprinkle salt on her. Do this over a tray for excess salt for easy clean up.
This is a Mrs. Butterworth's container. I (my husband) sawed off the top and I rubbed sandpaper over it to make it tacky. I used 'Pottery Plaster' from Hobby Lobby and covered it all over. Once it dried, I spread Aleene's Tacky Glue all over and poured on the salt. You can plug the hole on top and finish it with the plaster, or you can use fabric to make a headpiece to cover the hole. This is a visual from an old post. Click here to see it and more.

hi there, thank you for these resources. I love it! By the way I'd like to ask about Lot's song. I'm having a problem opening it. Thank you!
