https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2024/10/Jesus-washes-his-disciples-feet.html

This Jesus lesson is found in John 13 and is part of the Life of Jesus series of lessons not found in the book of Luke. They are designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included, and some are in color and black & white.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. The next worksheet was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search and crossword puzzle.   There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet, dot marker, dot-to-dot, color-by-number and maze.

The Concept Chart is designed create discussions, look up and review main points in each chapter. They are intentionally kept plain so they can be used to each classroom's needs. Color and black & white are included.

Follow Jesus' example. John 13:15

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark and poster. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

If you have the time, this is a perfect hands-on lesson to use a container with water and lots of towels and let the students wash each other's feet. What it meant, how it was done and why, and what Jesus meant about being a servant should all be discussed.

The same smaller set is included in the application pack and can be used for putting the events into sequence.
