Although I used the apple printables at home, they were designed to be used for homeschooling, Mother's Day Out, or any Bible learning situation where you are learning about God's creation.

Long-Legged Apple Friend

Kids LOVE these!

Cut 3-1-1/2 lengthwise (as long as your color paper is). I used the oversize paper to cut these and used green. He loved the longer arms and legs! I wrapped the arms around him for a hug and he was thrilled that his apple person loved him! Just like God loves you. God makes the apple trees and the apples. And we did a high five and he wanted it to wave to say hi for the picture. Cut 1 in half for the arms and use the other 2 for the legs. They need to be folded accordion style. The hands get glued to each end of the short pieces and the boots to the ends of the long pieces. I used tape to secure them.

Attach wiggle eyes and draw the mouth. We added a nose and eyebrows since his face has them. The arms and legs will be glued last. And I added tape to secure them to the apple.

There are two short story flip books in color and black & white included.

There are so many choices in this file! Some include color and black & white like the crown, spinner and slider shown on the right. The basic worksheets are in black & white only. 

The color cards can be used to review colors. Or print two for a game of Go, Fish!

There is a mobile and a tic tac toe game included! Both are in color and black & white.

God Makes the apples file includes pages that can be used as a flip book to discuss prepositions or as a visual. The book pages have different positions like under, on top, left, right, etc. The apple and tree are shown in the various positions. The book can be used to show the students what each word means. The pages are half pages and can be used in any order you prefer. Just cut in half and staple the pages on the left as shown.

But there is a one-page stand-up that can be used with the book also.  Print the apple and trees stand-up page on cardstock, cut and fold, and it's ready to use.  As you flip each page and discuss where the tree and apple are, the students can copy the same movements with their one-page stand-ups. Color and black & white are included.

A file folder game/lapbook is so easy to make, it's fun, and reusable! Just say, "Let's play the colors game" and they think it's all fun and not for learning! Students will match each color apple card with the same color apple on the file folder. Color is the only printing option since this is all about colors.
