The Book of John chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included, and some are in color and black & white.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included.

To create the 3-D scene: Print on paper or cardstock, although cardstock works better. Cut on dotted line to remove background from standups. Fold the paper on the center gray /white dotted line. Cut on black dotted lines on each side of the center rectangle. Cut on black line around Jesus the standup, and fold on dotted line. Fold bottom of scene forward on gray solid line. Fold forward on top line. Fold backward on the inside line.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. They are in color and black & white. The Spinner works best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a letter shapes worksheet. Students will fill in the correct word using the word bank. Next is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The next worksheet was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a Who did it? worksheet with a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description. The Timeline is a cut and glue the pictures in order. The Write About it has pictures for the student to write about the text either by reading it, or as a review. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.

But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Matthew 26:56a

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger, poster, and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
