My Visit to the Creation Museum

Tuesday, November 11, 2014
Today's post is written by Danielle Ringold. She was able to visit the Creation Museum and we are sharing thoughts and photos from the visit. I was able to visit when it just opened up and they have added a lot since my visit. We really enjoyed it! My thoughts that I have added are in (parenthesis). And, I have added a Pocket Facts Printable that can be used with or without going to the Creation Museum. It can be used to look at some Bible Facts Creation to Jesus Christ & Paul.

Jesus is Crucified

Thursday, November 6, 2014

I have divided these last days of Jesus more than the last time I posted them. I plan to have a quarter (13 weeks) of the Later Life of Jesus next summer with a more in-depth study and different projects and a lapbook. This week there is a layered heart for the students to fill-in-the-blanks while discussing some of the things that Jesus did to show how much He loves us.

Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane

Saturday, November 1, 2014
https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2014/11/jesus-in-garden-of-gethsemane.html
This week is Jesus in the garden. I hand out the Malchus mask and the kids loved it when they saw the ear was removable! While I taught the lesson, I had a plastic ear in my pocket and when I came to the Malchus part, I used my sword and cut of my right ear! Oh, they love that! You can see the ears here. There is a praying hands printable. There are a lot of different things to learn about prayer, but for this lesson, I decided to discuss what to pray for and how to pray. I used it as a conversation starter to discuss prayer and this can be used for several different lessons.
