Luke Chapter 11 Jesus Taught His Disciples to Pray

Friday, May 17, 2024

The Luke chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.

To make this an interactive spinner, students can craw themselves in each situation.

1. Getting ready to eat, pray before eating
2. Reading the Bible & praying
3. Praying before bed
4. Draw themselves at their favorite place to pray.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a space to draw, color-by-number, dot-to-dot, and word search puzzle. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.

The Concept Charts are designed create discussions, look up and review main points about prayer. They are intentionally kept plain so they can be used to each classroom's needs.
Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened. Luke 11:9

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
