Great Escapes VBS: Daniel in the Lion's Den Preschool

Preschool ideas for Daniel Escapes the Lion's Den! 

This is the second lesson for the VBS series Great Escapes.

This area of the room was decorated with a fiery furnace big enough for students to go in! 

It is so fun and a great hands-on for the kids!

Just remove the 'fire' and add some cardboard or stuffed giant lions, and you have a lion's den!

(Put cardboard lion or Melissa & Doug lion in Amazon or Oriental Trading search bar.)

Cut brown, yellow, and orange rectangles from construction paper for students to glue a mane on the lion.

Optional: Cut out the lion face first, glue on rectangles, and attach to a craft stick for a mask. Eyes can be cut out. Or add wiggle eyes. Print on cardstock.
