The Book of John chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included, and some are in color and black & white. Some of these and the other lesson links can be used interchangeably even though Jesus cleansed the temple in John early in His ministry, and again later.

Click to read more about the background of this and why Jesus was so angry. More here. And more.

This is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included. This can be printed on paper or cardstock. The people will work best if printed on cardstock. Cut the people on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines. One side of Jesus has Him happy, the other side has Him knocking the tables over. The money table and the dove table are ready for sales, and on the other side, they are knocked over. These can easily be flipped to use each side. Click here to see it.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle.  Both are in color and black & white. The Spinner will work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper. Click here to see the Foldable Book, different spinner & Flip Book already added to an earlier lesson.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The Write it out! worksheet has 3 pictures the students will write about each one to describe what they learned from the lesson. The third was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. The shape words worksheet has ten words the students will use to fill in the shape word boxes. There is a maze, number code, and alphabet code worksheet. Click here to see more worksheets for this lesson.

The Concept Chart is designed create discussions, look up and review main points in each chapter. They are intentionally kept plain so they can be used to each classroom's needs.

Jesus said, "Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise. John 2:16b

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger, poster, and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
