The Book of John chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.
Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included, and some are in color and black & white.
Print on cardstock. Cut on the dotted line to separate the background and pictures. Use a craft knife to make slits on the dotted lines along the end columns. Cut out the people as ONE long strip with all tabs attached. Insert from the bottom, across the top, back down through the other slit so each section can slide through using PULL TAB and be seen.
The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too!
To create the 3-D scene: Cut the dotted line under the background. Fold the scene in half. Cut on
dotted lines. Fold bottom of scene forward on solid gray line. Fold the top
line forward. Fold backward on the inside line. Cut the outside of the standup and fold in dotted line. Student will flip Jesus
and the man while retelling about this event. Color and black & white are included. This works best printed
cardstock.
To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The next two were designed for those asking for cut & glue. The first is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. The second is a picture timeline. Students will cut out the pictures, scramble them, and glue them in order. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. The write about it has four pictures with spaces for the student to write about what they read and remember. The shape words have words from the text which the students will look at the (letter) shapes and fill in the blanks. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.

All should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. John 5:23a
These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
