The Book of John chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included, and some are in color and black & white.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. They are in color and black & white. The Spinner works best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The Mount of Olives and the Temple anchor charts are included.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next worksheet is a word search puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a Write About it! worksheet with four pictures to review the verses and write about it. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.

There are 2 for this lesson. If you are teaching the woman caught in adultery, or if you are discussing sin, then use Jesus said, "Go and sin no more," If you are working through the chapters, then use Jesus said, "I am the light of the world."

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

For extra hands-on fun (for the kids, not the teacher), use a container like this. You can use any container that is stiff and had sides to contain the sand or dirt. If you prefer, you can make smaller ones for each student to use. Ask the students, "What do you think Jesus was writing?" and let students write in the sand/dirt/on the ground. If you can't take them outside for this, lay plastic on the floor to help contain the sand/dirt. Have damp washcloths or hand wipes or disposable towels to clean hands.
