David has a lot recorded of his life and if you plan to teach everything, this lesson is divided into two parts; unless you have a lot of time or want to condense the information for a shorter time frame.

Jonathan's Life

The lesson about Jonathan includes a lot of information about David and his father King Saul, so these events are not discussed in their lessons.

Friends

One of the applications is, of course, Jonathan's friendship with David. These were originally written for the friends that lowered the man down through the roof for Jesus to heal him. These posters and worksheets can be used for several lessons. Or even on a lesson about being friends.

King Saul's Life

Saul was the first king of Israel, but his disobedience to God caused him to lose the kingdom. David is briefly discussed, but this lesson is an overview of King Saul. His son Jonathan is not mentioned and his information is in the next lesson. David's life is after Jonathan.
