Bible ABC's: G is for Goliath the Giant from Gath.
David Faces Goliath the Giant in 1 Samuel 17.

These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!

The first worksheet is describing Goliath's armor. There is a black & white and a teacher's included. The second worksheet is a discussion starter using the verse 'The battle is the Lord's' to talk about different issues the students fight and how God can help them. The last is a concept chart using the verse "God looks at heart, not the outward appearance.' Discuss what this verse means and how their heart should be. Look up verses like Proverbs 4:23, Psalm 51:10, Proverbs 3:5 and Matthew 6:21.

The kids really love the Envelope Flips and Stand-Ups! Everything folds and fits into the envelope. They like to retell and move everything around. These can be used for a small teacher's visual depending on your class size. These work best printed on cardstock. Color and black & white are included.

These puzzles, mazes, dot-to-dot, color-by-number-code, etc. are all included. The teacher's answer sheets for the crossword and word search are included.
The number 5 for David picking up 5 smooth stones are included:
puzzle, maze, trace & draw and dot-to-dot.

The battle is the Lord's. 1 Samuel 17:47

These printables can be used for David and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible with sight words while keeping to the key points with easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. Color and black & white are included for both.
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions.
This is not included in the application pack. Click here to download.
These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals, and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
These coloring pages are included.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a set of 5- and 10-piece puzzles.

There is a one-page foldable book in color and black and white.
These pages can also be cut apart and used as flash cards to put the events in order.
These are for 1 Samuel 17. All are not shown.

  1. I use your lessons almost every time I teach. I also use things your mom created as well. She taught you well. You are both amazing Bible teachers!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it! They will be added as soon as they are approved.
