God Makes the Ocean & Sea Animals

Monday, February 5, 2018
This is part of our preschool learning we did at home. It includes ideas that can be used at home to learn about God and the Bible. *This is intended for home use or preschool (or kindergarten) classes. They are not intended for Bible class unless the lesson and printables are Bible instruction.*
This pack of Ocean and Sea posters was created using real photos. I tried to pick each animal in their habitat. These are in color only. Click here to download.
I found these foam glitter stickers at Michaels. I had them paint on an ocean background and when it was dry, they added the stickers. They loved the glitter stickers! I had other sea life foam stickers that they used also. Click here for the ocean background.
I purchased this habitat pack and the kids love using stickers! I used the Marine set from this pack.
I stumbled on these coloring books for $1.00 at Dollar Tree.
They were affordable enough to buy one for everybody!

Or, there are some free ocean pictures to color here.
I found these sharks here (use a 40% off coupon). They loved them!
The kids love mazes and enjoyed this free maze donated by Education.com.
Click here to download the maze and click here to download the answer sheet.

Practice fine motor skills while helping these sea animals out of the maze!

I found it was easier to discuss a couple specific animals from each habitat.
Click to see the above Marine animals we studied.

BTW, my granddaughter picked the animals she wanted to study from each habitat.
Since we did sea turtles here, we did not do turtles for pond animals.
We looked at these books from the library. This means this is what our library had available. If there is not a link, then it was not on Amazon at the time of posting. I suggest looking at your library to see what is available for free and if you love any of the books, then purchase them. Most of these are not really for preschoolers.
*One of their favorites and it's not pictured is Guess Who: Ocean Friends (lift-the-flap).*
Other favorites were Pete the Cat Scuba Cat  and   Dory: Ocean of Color
In the Ocean (touch & feel)  Usborne Under the Sea (lift the flap)
