God Makes the Pets
This is part of our preschool learning we did at home. It includes ideas that can be used at home to learn about God and the Bible. *This is intended for home use or preschool (or kindergarten) classes. They are not intended for Bible class.*

The Pets Posters are two to a page to save on printing. They are real color photos and can be used to discuss different pets, God makes the pets or any other option you can think of. They are designed the same as all the Animal Posters so they can be used together. You can blend different posters together and the student can put them in the correct habitat, etc. Click here to download.
For this worksheet, they cut out the pets on the bottom and laid each pet on the correct home. This is black & white only. Once they had the animals on the correct houses, I gave them pet stickers to put on each pet home. The pets are stored in a sandwich bag to reuse or can be kept in their animal habitat notebook. I found these plain wood frames and let them paint them. I have seen them at several stores for about $1.00 like Michaels and Dollar Tree. They said they liked the project enough to do it again. So, I am thinking All About Me would be a great time since I have found different styles of frames to use. Once the paint was dry, they added the pet stickers and I printed the photos of their pet for them to add.
I purchased this dog Craftivity here. They like to put the pieces together to create something fun!
Oh, they were thrilled with these Cheetos Paws! My sister bought them for me late July/early August and I found some at Kroger also.
They loved the My Favorite Pets because it is a touch & feel book. They also liked the 10 Tiny Puppies. It is a good counting book. Dogs vs. Cats and Dr. Seuss What Pet Should I get? are a lot of reading for this age group.  A couple of favorites were Pete the cat: A Pet for Pete and Too Many Dogs. Dog's Colorful Day is great for colors and counting.
