Silk Plants Direct Palm Trees

I was contacted by Silk Plants Direct and was offered a free fake palm tree in exchange for a review of the product I received. There are so many beautiful choices! They have different plants, trees and more. But, I was working on our VBS theme Moses, so I really wanted some sort of palm tree to represent Egypt. I received the beautiful palm tree and moved it around my living room and dining room and it looked great in every place I put it! Naturally, it looks gorgeous in the house. And, even better, I can't kill it. I am not great with plants. And, it still looks perfect with preschoolers in the house.

I ordered the Sago Palm Tree. I looked for a palm tree that looked the most like the ones I could find native to Egypt. This basically how it will look in the classroom for VBS. I wanted it to appear taller, so I put it on a small outdoor table I had. It folds flat so it was easy to take to the building.

I cut the length of the Desert Sand bulletin board paper I  needed to go from one wall to the other so it would cover the front of the table and crate. I cut the sky off and stapled each end to the wall. I used green felt around the basket for cover and to look like grass. You can see this and more Thursday when Moses is Saved in a Basket. This continues the background for Moses and adds a nice pop for Egypt.
You can order from Silk Plants Direct or their other company Commercial Palm Trees.
Silk Plants Direct has offered a unique discount code for you to use! Just use this code “ BLOGGER10 “ and receive 10% Off on their products except for custom order purchases.
Disclosure: I was given the free fake palm tree product in exchange for a review. This is my first review and although I have been asked before, I have always declined. I was happy to receive the item that I could really use. But, I am more than happy with the product! The fake palm tree is so real looking! I will share it again next year for our VBS Paul (Athens) theme.
I know the students will love it as much as I do because my grandkids love it. Even my husband commented on how real it looked and he is not fond of fake plants! That is the best review I can share with you! ☺
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received the fake palm tree mentioned above for free with the agreement that I would mention it on www.biblefunforkids.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be useful for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”
Although I discuss, provide ideas and links for many items that I have used, this is the only product I have been compensated for. And, I agreed because I felt that I could show my readers several ways to use a fake palm tree that I was going to purchase anyway for my classroom for VBS. Thank you Silk Plants Direct.
