VBS: 4. Moses and the Red Sea Crossing

Thursday, August 30, 2018
This is the 4th and last lesson for the VBS: Moses series.
I have a tent I keep in a corner and have to design around (or in front of) it. I found this Moses back drop here. I added the night sky bulletin board paper and cut the sky that was in the background.

Jeanne Dickson wrote this Moses crossing the Red Sea skit for VBS and gave permission to share! Thank you Jeanne! Click here to download the skit.

Teachers make any changes according to ages/grades/students needs.
Paulette usually decides the application portion of the lesson and we usually do some type of game to review the lesson. But she was sick, so we decided to do a review game with the buzzers. I asked my grandkids and they begged to do this! They love these buzzers and everyone was so excited when they saw them! So, I had made a list of random questions from all 4 nights. Ramona asked questions about each person and I asked the questions from my list. I created my list as a worksheet that can be used as a general review of Moses, or use the answer sheet to play a game. Click here to download the worksheet.
The download for the visuals include Moses' Birth, Burning Bush and Red Sea Crossing. I only included about 4 per lesson for VBS and did not include the Plagues since I have a separate pack just for that lesson. Click here to download the visuals.

All are not shown. These are the updated visuals for the Red Sea Crossing only.

(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)

A couple of us prefer to use these half page visuals for VBS. I print on cardstock, cut & laminate and put thin magnets on the back. They are easy use on a magnetic board since they can be put up and taken down as needed. One of the label pages and at least one of the picture pages are the same throughout the 4 lessons. You can print one to use for all lessons; or print for each lesson to store all the needed pieces together. This includes the lessons with the corresponding numbers for the visuals.
