Mothers of the Bible File Folder Game

Monday, April 11, 2022
This is a file folder game to review Mothers and their children.
Thanks to Cathy Whitacre for permission to recreate and share!
File Folder Games are nice for early arrivers. They can be an add-on to a shorter lesson or to complete a lesson with one of the mothers that are included.

The above is what the outside of the File Folder looks like.
This is the inside of the file folder. This design is turned to use the inside to be long.

These are the white answer eggs.  To make these self-checking, add the corresponding number of the mother on the back of the white answer eggs. Play in teams or let each student use their own file folder. The white answer eggs can be laid on the brown eggs with the mothers listed. Or, you can add magnets or Velcro. Store these in an envelope (these can be glued to the back) or a plastic storage baggie. These can be paper clipped to the inside when they are not being used. Cathy Whitacre (1950-2015) was a Christian, wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend. Cathy and her husband Gerry worshiped with the New Hope Church of Christ, in Bradyville, Tennessee.
Family was one of her crowning joys in life. Married to Gerry for over 47 years they had many years of adventure and love. Her children and grandchildren kept her busy and happy. Everywhere Cathy lived from Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and more she made dear friends who she considered family.
Cathy had the opportunity to participate in mission work for many years. She had the privilege of speaking at Ladies Days, teaching Vacation Bible Schools, and conducting workshops in Jamaica, Scotland, New Zealand, and in the United States.
Cathy was involved in teaching for over 50 years, from nursery to adults. Cathy believed that Christian Education is one of the greatest mission efforts we can be involved in, and the benefits are eternal.
