Bible ABC's: P is for Prison
Part 2: Joseph and the Prison Years Bonus!
Genesis 39-41
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
The applications review who had each dream. The first is a cut and glue worksheet. Students will cut out the dreams and glue them to the correct person that had the dream. The second is a foldable. Print on both sides, cut out the dreams from the bottom, fold the main paper in half and glue the dreams to the correct person. The last picture is an Anchor Chart to make it easier to show the students the correct order. These are not in the application pack and can be downloaded here.
Kids love using these education/instruction pocket cubes for games. Print the cube squares and cut. Insert into the slots and a fun learning game is ready! It is worth the initial investment and you can create pictures, questions, or whatever you can think of to use these. You can find them at Amazon, Carson Dellosa, eBay, Dollar stores, teacher supply stores, etc.
A number 7 cut & glue puzzle and Who did it? Draw a line to the correct person worksheet.
A word search and crossword for Genesis 39-41 with answer sheets.
A maze and dot-to-dot for the 7 good/bad years and Pharaoh's dreams.
There are two sets for this lesson. One is for the chief butler and chief baker's dreams and the other is for Pharaoh's dreams. The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible with sight words while keeping to the key points with easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. These are in color only.
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. For this lesson, there are two. One is the butler & baker's dreams in chapter 40, and the other is Pharaoh's dreams in chapter 41. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions. This is not included in the application pack.

These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below. There are extra visuals included that are not in the visuals file that were updated for the worksheets.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a set of 5- and 10-piece puzzles.

There are two one-page foldable books for this lesson.
These pages can also be cut apart and used as flash cards to put the events in order.
Both include color and black and white.
This is a variety pack for Genesis 39-46 since it covers so much!
There is a visual(s) for each event that is in these chapters.
(These are not included in the application pack.)

Click here to download the pictures to color.
(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)
