The Bronze Serpent

Friday, November 25, 2022

From Moses to Hezekiah to Jesus. Depending on your age group and your needs, the lesson can be reduced to just Moses, or Moses and Hezekiah.
These Anchor Charts are included in the application pack.
The first worksheet is a concept chart. The bronze/brass serpent was made for good, then turned into an idol. This is blank so you can use it for the discussion your class needs. The second is a cross foldable. Cut & fold, then students can unfold as you review the lesson, or they can tell you the events as they unfold it and see the pictures. The next is a one-page layered book. The kids love these flip books! The last is a spinner, which they also love. The projects are in color and black & white.
A word search and crossword, maze and color-by-number are included.

Do all things without complaining or arguing. Philippians 2:14

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger, poster and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
These pictures to color are included.

These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
Not all are shown.
(These are not included in the application pack.)

Click here to download the pictures to color.
(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)
