Long-Legged Bird
Kids LOVE these!
Paper Plate Nest
Cut the (brown) paper plate in half and put the edges together to make
a pocket. Color brown if it is white or cut a 10” circle using construction
paper and cut in half. Staple the rounded edges together. Glue on label.
Gather twigs, leaves, etc. outside that birds use to make a nest and put into the pocket. It was raining, so we couldn’t do that. You can use gift bag shred. I just used brown napkins.
Add the eggs and the robin.
There are so many choices in this file! Some include color and black & white like the crown, life cycle spinner, cut & glue, and slider, and other printables shown on the right. The basic worksheets are in black & white only.
The color cards can be used to review colors. Or print two for a game of Go, Fish!

This God Made the Birds file includes pages that can be used as a flip book to discuss prepositions or as a visual. The book pages have different positions like under, on top, left, right, etc. The birds are shown in the various positions. The book can be used to show the students what each word means. The pages are half pages and can be used in any order you prefer.
