Make Your Own 10 Commandments Visual!
I saw this project at a teacher's workshop that I attended. My Sister-in-Law and nieces teach these workshops. You can see more ideas I saw here: http://kidsbibledebjackson.blogspot.com/2012/08/bible-teachers-workshop.html

I found these 2 Boogie Boards at Dollar tree. I peeled off the stickers, and trimmed off the points at the bottom, then my husband spray painted both sides for me.

I used the list of 10 commandments in Exodus 20:1-17 and since I will be discussing each commandment when I use the tablets, I condensed each commandment so the writing would look better on the tablets. In Exodus 32:15, Moses tells us that God wrote on both sides of the tablets, so that is what I did on these. FYI, the letters are about one inch tall, so they are easy to read for the students also.

We also made this Mt. Sinai foam visual. Click on the picture above to see the directions.
