 Part B:
I have been wanting to expand the last days of Jesus lessons. I have them very condensed for my age group and because of the weeks I have them vs. the lessons I want to teach. This continues from Part A with some review and is about Peter in the courtyard and he denies knowing Jesus. This lesson also discusses the trials that Jesus had that led to the cross. Scripture reference is Matthew 26:57 -27:26.
We have been studying the last days of Jesus and we have discussed Jesus showing His disciples the Lord's Supper in the upper room. We also know that Judas has agreed to betray Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Jesus and His disciples went to the Garden of Gethsemane when they left the upper room. Jesus left His disciples and went to pray. He told God that He would do what God wanted.
After three times of going back to His disciples and finding them asleep, Jesus told them it was time. The betrayer was near.  And, Judas came with a detachment of soldiers (Usually 600 soldiers) and Chief Priests. They had swords and clubs. Judas kissed Jesus, and by doing that, he confirmed to the soldiers who Jesus was. They arrested Jesus. All the disciples of Jesus ran and left Him there.
The people that arrested Jesus took Him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were waiting. They brought in people to tell lies about Jesus. Jesus didn't say anything while people lied. But, when the chief priest asked Jesus if He was the Son of God, He answered that "Yes, I am the Son of God and will be sitting at the right hand of God." That made the high priest angry and he spit on Jesus and started to beat Him. (Matthew 26:57-67)
While Jesus was with them, Peter was in the courtyard outside. A servant girl came to him and said "You were with Jesus of Galilee." But, Peter denied it and replied that he didn't know what she was talking about! (Matthew 26:69-75)
When Peter went out by the gate, another girl saw him and told everyone "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth." But, Peter denied this also and replied "I don't know Him."
Later in the evening, some of the people were standing with Peter and said that He had to be one of them because his speech betrayed him. Peter became angry and told them "I do not know the Man!"
A rooster crowed instantly and Peter remembered what Jesus had told him. Jesus had said "You will deny Me three times before the rooster crows." Peter left and cried.
The next morning, Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate the governor. When Pilate asked Jesus if He was the King of the Jews, Jesus told Pilate "It is as you say." (Matthew 27:11) But, Jesus didn't answer any other questions.
During the feast, the governor would release a prisoner. Barabbas was a famous prisoner, so Pilate asked the people if he should let Jesus or Barabbas go free. They shouted to let Barabbas go and crucify Jesus. Pilate could see the crowd was turning into a mob, so he washed his hands and told them he was done with Jesus.
Jesus was taken away by the soldiers. We will continue this lesson next week.

This looks like a funny worksheet, but I like conversation starter worksheets that we can discuss different issues for the age group. For this one, we have learned that all of the disciples of Jesus have left Him. Peter denied Him. Judas betrayed Him. They have been witnesses to all the things He had done. All the miracles. They heard all the parables. They left everything they had to follow Him. Then, they left Jesus just like He said they would. So, this is to make the students think about when they do things that Jesus says not to do. And, what are things that God wants us to do? Or say?
