This is lesson 2 in the VBS: Moses series.
This includes decorations, lesson, visuals and more.

These walls I decorate for VBS are from floor to ceiling. I started with the cloudy sky bulletin board paper across the top. I used a photo of Mount Horeb from the internet and painted it to kinda resemble it. I added two layers of desert sand paper after cutting off the sky.

The standup sheep were from this Hometown Nazareth Backdrop Accessories set. I used a tri-fold project (science) board. I glued the Summer Horizon bulletin Board paper to the board. Then attached the flock of sheep, clouds, flowers & rocks to create the standup. I added a fake plant to the back and it added nice texture. I used this Moses stand-up.

We used Exodus 3:11 'Who Am I' for the main scripture for Moses. This can be the application each night's lesson. What can the students do for God?  Moses didn't think he could do what God asked; but he could with His help. This takes 6 pages to make this banner. I printed it on cardstock, cut and pieced it together. I laminated it and put magnets on the back to use on the top of my white board. I used the Magnetic Board Visuals each night on the bottom of the board. Click here to download.

I purchased these emoji bracelets to hand out for this lesson. Moses had to be feeling so many emotions! See them here.

Paulette creates the application part of the lesson for us to review. She usually makes some type of game that they enjoy while they are learning. I purchased these button buzzers and they love them! These are the questions we used for the game. I created a worksheet with the questions so they can be used either way. There is also a question and answer sheet. Click here to download.

The download for the visuals include Moses' Birth, Burning Bush and Red Sea Crossing. I only included about 4 per lesson for VBS and did not include the Plagues since I have a separate pack just for that lesson. Click here to download the visuals.
This contains the same visuals as the above. They are changed to be black & white for printing. Click here to download the pictures to color.
You can see the full sets of visuals and pictures to color here.

A couple of us prefer to use these half page visuals for VBS. I print on cardstock, cut & laminate and put thin magnets on the back. They are easy use on a magnetic board since they can be put up and taken down as needed. One of the label pages and at least one of the picture pages are the same throughout the 4 lessons. You can print one to use for all lessons; or print for each lesson to store all the needed pieces together. This includes the lessons with the corresponding numbers for the visuals.
