ABC's of Jesus' Life: T is for Tempted
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Just consider them an update with new ideas and printables to teach the Life of Jesus!
Something different! The left has Corner Bible Bookmarks with a scripture and the space is left blank for students to add their own design, color and stickers would be a great option. Each page makes 2.

For a conversation starter: The right side is a worksheet about temptation. Discuss how hungry, weak and probably tired Jesus would have been and how hard it would be to say no to Satan. They can write the 3 temptations and Jesus' answers to Satan. Then read and write a scripture. Then they can think about 3 temptations they have had or continuously battle and how to handle them. Like Jesus wants them to.
These posters are in the application pack.
These Event Cards are included in color and can be used as smaller visuals or they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
This is a one-page foldable book in color and black and white.
These pages can also be cut apart and used as flash cards to put the events in order.
Download the foldable book here.
It is not in the application pack.
The students can find their way through the lesson with this maze. There were 3 temptations, so I added this number 3 color-by-number.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a set of 5 and 10 piece puzzles.

  1. Hi, I am trying to download the maze but I cannot seem to find a link for it. Can you direct me?
I love your site. We are members at Browns Ferry Road Church of Christ in Chattanooga.

    1. Loren, thanks for letting me know! It has been corrected and you can download it @

  2. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity. I truly appreciate these lessons, and my sunday-school kids love doing them. I have up to 20 kids in my class from 4 years old to 12, and these lessons reach all of them! How blessed is that? Thank you!

  3. Your site has great resources. Thank you for sharing

  4. I appreciate the work you've done that helps my husband and me as we teach 4-6th graders difficult to understand concepts like temptation.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it! They will be added as soon as they are approved.
