Bible ABC's: F is for Fish
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
These Q&A worksheets have a basic statement so you can discuss Jonah's actions, his consequences and how he finally obeyed God. Jonah can be discussed with 1. he disobeyed 2. he prayed 3. he obeyed. This can lead to any discussion that is needed for your students' situations. They are the same except for the emoji.
The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible while keeping to the key points with easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet and an answer sheet is included.
This Jonah Activity Mat has a dot-to-dot boat, maze, pictures to color and draw/design a fish. These can be used for review, early arrivers or to send home to use later.
This is a super easy stand-up! It's a one-page printable in color and black & white super easy to cut out and super easy to use and super fun!

If you want to be a bit more creative, lay blue fabric or felt on the table with seashells tossed around on it. You could add fish gummies or Goldfish, too!
A couple of things I did different from the basic directions can be seen in the above photo. After cutting Jonah away from the fish on the dividing line on the left, I folded the fish and cut the excess white paper off around the top of the head and mouth. Also, along the bottom where the printer can't print the graphic. That is an option to make it look better. You can also cut straight up where the dotted lines are to make it a lift-the-flap. Jonah can be swallowed by the fish, then lift-the-flap to see him in the belly.

I included a full-page background scene and a half-sheet that can be folded and used like a stand-up. The background scenes and people can be printed and reused for other lessons. Kids love re-telling with these!
These additional pictures to color, fish color-by-number and fish swallowing Jonah maze are included.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a color-by-number and 5- and 10-piece puzzles.

There is a one-page foldable book in color and black and white.
Just print, fold in half and fold again and it's ready to use!
These pages can also be cut apart and used as flash cards to put the events in order.
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions.
This is not included in the application pack. Click here to download.
These Event Cards are included in the application pack. They can be used as smaller visuals, and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. There are information Anchor Charts that are not shown.

Click here to download the full-page color visuals here.
All are not shown.
