The Luke chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.

For the Good Samaritan, I purchased these heart lollipops. If you have time, look in late January and February for heart items to use. I had these glue dots (it is so much cheaper to buy these in bulk) to attach the scripture heart to after the students cut them out. To use glue dots, press the white paper they are on directly onto the surface you want it on. Don't use your finger to transfer. Each student picked a heart verse for: 1. themselves 2. one for each sibling 3. one to give/share with someone. They cut out the hearts and attached it to the lollipop. Chocolate covered hearts will also work for this.

I used this bulletin board for this lesson. It has stayed up for a while and can be referred to when we talk about helping others, being nice, obeying parents, etc. They liked this Love thy Neighbor craft also.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The Concept Chart is designed create discussions, look up and review main points in each chapter. They are intentionally kept plain so they can be used to each classroom's needs. The next is a chapter word search and crossword puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. There is a Spot the 10 differences, a maze and color by number and a draw a line to the correct person worksheet.

Love God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27 (condensed)

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark and poster. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
