File Folder Games are easy and fun! These are great for homeschool, early arrivers, or whenever you need something extra to do. It was designed to be used for preschool homeschool, Mother's Day Out, centers, or any preschool Bible learning situation.

A file folder game/lapbook is so easy to make, it's fun, and reusable! Just say, "Let's play the colors game" and they think it's all fun and not for learning! Students will match each color by laying the color key card on the padlock with the same color on the file folder. Color is the only printing option since this is all about colors.
Students will match the key shape cards to the lock shape. Color and black & white are included.

What are the directions for playing the Paul and Silas in Prison Games?

These are mostly play by yourself and kids (preschool) love them. They match up the cards to the inside 'game board'. Tell them it's a game, and they don't know they are learning and just having fun. Although, if you wanted to, you could make a real game out of it. Turn the cards upside down, have someone pick a card and match it, then someone from the other team do the same. You can probably search and find better ideas. File Folder Game theme was created years ago, and I wanted to incorporate them for Bible. They are a great boredom buster before Bible class because it keeps them occupied quietly, and they can do them by themselves allowing the teacher take care of students coming to class. And they are easy and affordable to make and easy to store. To use them as a review game, have each student open the file folder and lay the cards to the side. Ask questions and let them add a match card each time they get it correct. They will be more willing to answer if they can place a game card.
