This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included.

To create the 3-D scene:

1. Print on paper or cardstock, although cardstock works better. Cut the bottom of the scene on dotted lines. Then, fold in the scene in half. Fold the bottom on gray line forward. Fold the top forward on top gray line. Fold backward on the inside gray line. Cut the manna & quail on the solid outside lines and fold on the dotted line.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle.  They are in color and black & white. The Spinner will work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper. The first picture is the people are complaining (16:3), God sends manna in the morning, and quail in the evening, (16:13), last picture shows them with the stinky worm-infested leftovers they were told not to save (16:20).

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The early writer has spaces for the student to fill in the answer which can be round in the word bank.
The third was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. The write it out has four pictures for the student to write about what they remember or after reading the scripture. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet and some fun quail extras.

Trust in the Lord. He is our help and shield. Psalm 115:11 (paraphrased)

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

Here's an old idea! The kids LOVE this snack! I used these 9 oz. cups with lids so I could have everything prepared before class. A smaller size would work, too.

Visuals are for Exodus 17. Not all are shown.
(These are not included in the application pack.)

(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)
