Thank you to Jeanne Dickson for permission to copy (as close as possible with the resources I have available) and share these ideas and printables! 

The Queen of Sheba brought gifts to King Solomon! Jeanne used these items to represent the gifts of spices, gold and precious jewels. Note from Jeanne states the gold can take on many forms like gold chocolate coins, Rolo candy, or Hershey's almond candy, because they come in gold wrappers.

Jeanne designed this fun application paper. The lid is designed to be a lift-the-flap and an easy cut and glue project, then the students can add the Queen of Sheba's gifts of gold, spices (cinnamon), and stick-on jewels 'inside' the chest. Add glue to a spot and let the students add cinnamon (or whatever spice you have handy), (rhinestones or) jewels something like these or these, or these jewel stickers, and something for gold like this or this, or find a sheet of gold paper and cut it into rectangles or squares.

The Newsletter Foldable can be used as a review handout, sent in the mail or in an email, especially for those unable to be in class. The same lesson is included for the teacher.

 This is the inside with the lesson and pictures. On the outside, Jeanne adds notes and assorted items. She might add a Bible verse, memory verse, a Bible song or two, a picture to color, a reward reminder and/or notes about class and hello to students. You could add a puzzle, maze, worksheet, whatever you prefer.
