This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The spinner will work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a maze. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The Write it out has 4 pictures with spaces to describe what happened in the book of Jonah. The thought question is a general question that can be used as in introduction to the lesson, or a review after the lesson to discuss fear and prayer.

Jonah prayed, "I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness. Jonah 4:2b (This is the middle of the verse.)

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
