Solomon Rebuilds the Temple

Today's lesson is Solomon and the temple he built. I made a wheel for the students to fill in the blanks while we are discussing the lesson. This is the last lesson for this quarter, and we begin Elijah next week.

What is a File Folder Game?

Please check back often using the search bar on the right.! I was given permission to copy and share a lot of lapbook / file folder games by someone who wants to remain anonymous. I have added more lesson files because I love lapbooks! These will be added every Wednesday in 2026, and on Mondays in 2027. They will be added randomly in 2024-2028. 

I have also created a lot of file folder games (mostly for preschool) that teach colors, shapes, etc. that can be used with Bible lessons, and these will be added the next couple of years. These are especially fun keep handy to use for early arrivers, but there are so many uses for these!

They can be used as worksheets without the cover and file folder. They can be cut & glue worksheets, too.

File Folder Games are easy and fun! These are great for homeschool, early arrivers, or whenever you need something extra to do. These were designed to be used for Bible class (great fun for review), homeschool, Mother's Day Out, Bible camp, centers, or any Bible learning situation. These are designed for the student to put together, but they can be assembled and ready to use beforehand (easier if they are ready!)!

Solomon's Wisdom

This week's lesson is about Solomon and his request to God. God was happy with Solomon's choice and blessed him with wisdom and riches. Today's project will review the facts for Solomon.

We are finishing up with the judges today with Samuel and he leads us to David. We have a couple of lessons for David and his son Solomon to finish this 13-week quarter of the Old Testament Bible People. We will begin the next quarter with Elijah and Elisha.

I have combined the usual lesson of God Talking to Samuel with more about Eli and the loss of the Ark of the Covenant in a battle. As you can see below, I had the lesson on the floor on blankets and turned off the lights since it was nighttime. Samuel will lead us to David next week.
