Paul and Agabus

The people finally said, "Let the Lord's will be done". This is a shorter lesson, so I like to discuss other Bible people that did the Lord's will instead of doing what they wanted. There is a concept chart for the students to write about the Bible people that are being discussed.

Demetrius the Silversmith

 Paul is constantly teaching about staying faithful to God and don't worship idols. There are several applications for this lesson, and we talked about making God first in our life, obeying God and their parents. They loved their worksheet today!

Using Task Cards in a Bible Class

I asked Danielle Ringold to write a post about using Task Cards in Bible class. I have been asked how to use them and there are several sets available on this blog. My daughter has used them in public education, so she has listed some ideas for us. I have added some of our Task Cards through the post for you.

Paul With Aquila & Priscilla

Aquila and Priscilla is a great lesson to talk about Paul having a skill and more of the people that he worked with... physically to make money and Spiritually to spread the Word of God. Paul mentions them several times and always has good things to say about them. The project is a map with the locations that Aquila and Priscilla are known to be. We also know where Paul was at the same time, so there his locations are also discussed and marked.

I created two sets of visuals that you can use for younger or older students. These can also be used as a bulletin board. This week we studied Paul and Silas. This is a really fun lesson! We also learn about Paul being a Roman citizen and how important that was in Paul's time.

God Makes Spring

This is a Bible preschool at home post, but the color pictures can be used in a preschool class to ask/remind students that God Makes Everything. There is also a Ladybug and Bee Make-Your-Own Template included.

Lydia

This week we discussed Lydia. I used bolts of different purple cloth for the visual, which the kids really liked. They took home purple cloth and shells. They also added purple cloth and shells to their IFA bags with the printable for today.

This week's study in Acts is about Timothy. I created the printables for Timothy using the letters Paul wrote to Timothy. There is also a Tri-Fold Foldable option.

There are so many different Bible facts that can be taught with this lesson. For this post, I decided on Names of God since Paul taught about God the Creator.

Paul Heals Man in Lystra

This lesson is Paul and Barnabas in Lystra. They healed a man and the people started to worship them instead of God! This really upset them, and Paul told them that they are just normal men teaching others about God that created everything!
