This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included.

To create the 3-D scene:

1. Print on paper or cardstock, although cardstock works better.

2. Fold the paper in half.

3. Cut on black dotted lines on inside of the lions.

4.  Fold bottom of scene forward on gray solid line. Fold forward on top line. Fold backward on the inside line.

5. Cut the people and lions on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The lion stick puppet is made with a yellow cupcake liner, the lion face printable and a large craft stick. Color and black & white are included. This is quick and easy, and kids love anything on a craft stick!

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. The write it out has four pictures that the student will write about each to describe what happened to Daniel. The next worksheet was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The early writer has simple statements for the students to fill in the box with words from the word box. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. There is a word search, maze, color by number, and a dot marker worksheet.

God is living and steadfast forever. Daniel 6:26b

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
