This lesson
contains highlights in the Life of Moses and is condensed since we are told so
much about him. Each event is basically a paragraph with the general
information. His information is found in Exodus and Numbers.

Aaron's Life
Friday, March 20, 2020
Since most of the events in the wilderness that are written in the Old Testament are about Moses, they are not mentioned here. This lesson is about Aaron and his life. The golden calf is discussed and the priesthood, and God proclaiming Aaron to be the leader with his rod blossoming.

In this lesson, the 10 Plagues are reviewed that we have studied previously and complete the last plague. The Israelites are instructed by God what they are to do to be spared when He passes through Egypt for the 10th and last plague. The people are finally permitted to leave Egypt.

Moses: Aaron's Gold Calf
Saturday, October 26, 2013
Today's lesson is Aaron's Gold Calf. God told the people they were not allowed to have idols. Today's project is a Play Doh gold calf that I made before class for each student, then we smashed them during the lesson and talked about things we could worship as idols today, and God still says "NO!"

Moses and the 10 Commandments
Sunday, October 14, 2012
This is part 2 of a very condensed life of Moses. Following Acts, I do several lessons with Old Testament people to discuss the old law vs. the new law. What rules God tells us in the New Testament He expects us to follow. When Jesus died on the cross, God instituted some changes. Some of those are talked about in Acts 10:1-48 when we talked about Cornelius and Peter's vision.

Moses: 10 Plagues Part 1 of 3
Saturday, September 14, 2013
We continue with Moses and start the 10 plagues! The 10 plagues lesson was my daughter's favorite lesson she remembers me teaching as she was growing up! Some of the visuals I have used for years! I don't mind putting money into visuals, since they last for so long and they really make a huge impact for the kids! There is a small one-page booklet for the take-home. There are extra worksheets to review the plagues also.

What Does the Bible Say About the 10th Plague?
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
This is different from my normal posts, but it is absolutely worth taking the time to read to the end! I do everything I can to keep my Bible lessons and wording scriptural. This is one of those scriptures that I want to have correct. Like, for instance, Jonah and the great fish, Adam & Eve ate the fruit, etc.
This is one a lot of people have trouble with, and I really wanted a BIBLE answer after the latest Bible movie came out! Well, here it is. Ha! We have a scientist we attend worship with! The Big Picture: Overview of the Bible
Friday, January 10, 2020
This lesson can be used as an introduction or closing for the
People in the Bible Series. Or, it can be used a general lesson by itself. This
was actually a sermon by Tim Alsup and was preached while I was working on this
series. Tim has given permission to use his outline and make any changes to
adapt for students.

Moses: Birth - Marriage
Saturday, August 31, 2013
Today's lesson starts our Moses series! I will set up a table/tables and add a visual each week so the class can see the life of Moses all in order, and the kids that miss a class will still be able to see what we learned. And it will help with reviewing his life in order. Today we are starting a map and they will have a cut and glue workbook for this quarter. Today's take-home is a slider that has the birth of Moses in order that I put together before class and we will use it during the lesson.

Moses & the 10 Commandments

Moses and the Ten Commandments
Friday, May 23, 2025
This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.
