The Tower of Babel is a short lesson, so I created a cut & glue worksheet that can be used to discuss the things that we should build our life on that God wants. To go with the building theme, I have the cutest toolbox and tools for you! It can be used for any lesson and the kids are going to LOVE it!

It's hard to believe it has been a year, and with most people's lives, a lot has happened on the blog and personally. I started the blog because I wanted to be able to share God's Word. I remember when my son was in Kindergarten and I went to his school to 'help' in computer class... it was all new then, and I had to ask him "How do you turn it on?"... "How does this work?"...etc! I still say, if you want to know something about electronics, ask a kid! Also, anyone that knows me, knows I really don't talk that much, I like to sit and watch and listen, so it is really amazing to me that I have a blog! So, that is a little about me!

Today's Bible lesson is Cain and Abel. For today's extra project, I created a file folder game (FFG). because I want to reinforce doing what is right, and what God wants, not what we want, I created the game cards for the player to move forward if it is the right thing to do, or move backward if it is the wrong choice.

Today's Bible lesson is Adam & Eve. I wanted to spend time reviewing last week's lesson on God's Creation. I made the project for today so I could combine both! I put together the Lift-the-Flap, and there are options for these printables! We added stickers of things that God created like the sun, flowers, bees, butterflies, ladybugs, etc. The kids love stickers! And, it made it more fun for them!

I have a special holder that the kids collect their Bible verses in after we are finished looking it up and reading it. The holder can be anything, for instance, I use mailboxes or metal lunch boxes for Acts (Paul) and Letters From Paul. A lot depends on what I can find enough for the whole class. I print a cover or label for the holder and then the kids take everything home when we are finished using it. For Genesis and Moses, I found enough wood treasure boxes at hobby Lobby. There are many treasures to find in the Bible!

We are going to be studying the first book of the Bible. It is in the Old Testament, and is called Genesis. Genesis means origin or beginnings, to come into being. It was written by Moses and the very first verse says: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Today, we are studying God's creation.
