Paul wrote about the armor in Ephesians 6:10-20. Paul was used as the first lesson to introduce the theme and to explain what the pieces of the armor were as a whole. We used one or two pieces of armor for each lesson. 2. Noah 3. Joshua 4. Gideon

There are two Armor of God Dress the Roman Soldier files. This one has the three guys to choose from and the armor that is shown on the completed soldier. The undershirt is already on him to cover his underwear and it is not part of the armor Paul talks about anyway. But the shoes are on him because they are not boot style and they would be impossible to cut out and look good. The armor in this set looks more accurate and there are two breastplates included.

This file contains extra-large pieces of the armor as shown. Each will need to be printed (best on cardstock), cut out and pieced together. Each has a small, completed picture to help you. These are intended for bulletin boards or room decorations but can be used for large visuals.

I covered a corner with this paper and cut the design from this roll of tablecloth to use across the top to add a pop of color with a Roman design. I added these pieces of the armor cutouts to the background. I had the actual pieces of armor on display in front of this background for us to discuss and show the students each night. I added my old Colossal Roman Soldier poster to complete the layout. If you click on the link, you can see the manufacturer information, although it is out of print.

I purchased this Armor of God game and cut out the soldier and title for the door. This is very thin and has to laminated if you plan to reuse it. It is folded and hard to use. The title even has a crease in it. The soldier is about 27" and a bit smaller than I hoped for. I do like that he is fun and not a scary soldier, fully dressed and the armor is correct.
