Our VBS for 2016 is Lifting Up the King. We studied great kings of the Bible. Day 4 was Jesus: King of Kings taken from Revelation 19:16. The theme for Jesus was His humble life.

greatest King of all. This is the first night's study of King David: A Man After God's own Heart found in Acts 13:22. The theme was Heart Like God.

The room we use for our Wednesday night 3 year old class is also a Mother's Day Out class. The Bible class teacher usually has one bulletin board, but I asked if I could do all of them for the summer. This first quarter we are teaching Genesis, so these can also be used to review God's Creation.

This continues the pieces of the Armor of God. One thing led to another (as it usually does) as I taught the lesson about Jesus healing the Centurion's Son to the 3 year old class. I started with the shield and added the helmet. When I was getting the Armor of God lesson ready for the second grade class, I wanted more hands-on pieces. Since I have mostly boys this year, I thought they would really love having these. So, here we are with the helmet.
