3. Kings, Prophets & More Lesson Links

I am creating a lesson plan for a year for out Wednesday night 3 year old class. This post will have the links so you can find each lesson. You can also download the list of lessons. This is the third quarter which is Kings, Prophets & More. I like to go through the Bible beginning with Genesis and we will end with Jesus Returning to heaven. There will be three quarters of the Old Testament and the last quarter will be about Jesus.

Solomon begins our third quarter study through the Bible with preschoolers. This quarter includes kings and prophets in the Old Testament.

We originally discussed Great Kings of the Bible:

David, Solomon, Josiah and Jesus the most important of all.

Lifting Up the King is Great Oak's theme for this year, so

Our VBS for 2016 is Lifting Up the King. We studied great kings of the Bible. Day 2 was Solomon: The Wisest Man found in 1 Kings 4:30. The theme was Mind of Wisdom.

Solomon Rebuilds the Temple

Today's lesson is Solomon and the temple he built. I made a wheel for the students to fill in the blanks while we are discussing the lesson. This is the last lesson for this quarter, and we begin Elijah next week.
