Abraham Overview

This is an updated lesson (#3) in a 13-week series that I use in my class. I wanted one quarter to introduce the Old Testament with a basic timeline of the people and events. The students can learn what happened in the Old Testament and how those events lead to Jesus. This does not include Noah but includes specific events in the life of Abraham and Sarah, his son Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and Esau. This leads to Jacob and the 12 Sons/12 Tribes.

Big Mouth Review Games

The Big Mouth Review Games are a fun, different way to review the lesson. Each game is created with a graphic based on the lesson. The questions are written reading verse by verse. There is a question-and-answer sheet for each set of questions, and there is a set of blank cards so you can add more.

Shadrach, Meshach & Abed-Nego's Life

Although this lesson discusses Daniel with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, he is only mentioned in the events that he is with his friends. The students will study how they arrived in Babylon, the food they wanted to eat, their refusal to bow down to the king’s statue and the fiery furnace.
