This is lesson 16 in the Life of David series. David sent men to ask Nabal for food for feast day. David and his men have been protecting the shepherds and David is asking for payment. Nabal is rude and declines. David is angry and Abigail calms him down. This has a good application worksheet to discuss anger and how God wants us to control it.

This lesson takes place in 1 Samuel 20 and is lesson 12 in the Life of David Series. David and Jonathan are friends and Saul is unstable. Jonathan told David that he would find out what Saul's intentions were and they would decide if David could stay or if he needed to run to be safe.

Life of David: 10. King Saul is Jealous of David

This lesson covers several different small topics for David. This is lesson 10 in the Life of David Series. We review Goliath, discuss Saul's anger and jealousy toward David. Saul also begins to hate David and throws his spear at him. He hopes the Philistines will kill David. Saul also realizes that God isn't with him anymore and He is with David. David marries Saul's daughter Michal.
